Cat Trap

Cat Trap is an experimental VR game developed by myself and a small team of fellow students at the University of South Wales as part of a collaboration between local company Tiny Rebel Games and the University.

Tiny Rebel set us a short brief, Hungry for War. we were required to have a conflict of some sort in the game ether as a narrative or game play element and we were also expected to work in food into the game in some capacity.

Cat Trap is set in a world where cats and mice are fighting a world war for survival, the player takes control of a POW mouse who has been set to work in the Cat army kitchens. The player must attempt to keep the cat overlords fed quickly or face consequences whilst also attempting to poison as many of the cats as possible without getting caught

If the player succeeds in poising enough cats they will be rewarded with the ''good'' ending where they are shown a postcard end screen informing them of mouse victory in the war. But if they fail then they get the ''Bad'' ending where they are shown a postcard end screen depicting cat victory in the war
